Scotland now included in area for Paristamen responsive grants

The trustees of the Paristamen CIO are delighted to announce that with immediate effect the Responsive Grantmaking Programme is extended to include local charities in Scotland.  This is in addition to our existing focus on local charities in Yorkshire.

Although the main base of the charity remains in York, the trustees now also have a presence in East Lothian, Scotland and at a recent trustees meeting it was agreed to extend the Responsive programme to include local charities in Scotland.

There are no changes to other aspects of the criteria for Responsive Grants. We are still happy to consider applications from smaller national charities (where the charity’s total income is over £1M).  But in the case of charities with a local focus, that focus can be either in Yorkshire or in Scotland.  (Please note that we do not consider applications under the Responsive programme from local charities based in other areas.)
